Sustainable Food Entrepreneurship

October 29, 2015 @ 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm UTC+0

| Free

Venture capitalists raised an estimated $48 billion for food startups last year. Entrepreneurial champions like Alice Waters, Food Activist and Owner of Chez Panisse, Claus Meyer, Co-Founder of Noma, and FBS Dean and Executive Director Will Rosenzweig have created a food movement that promotes transparent supply chains from farm to table, and offers profitable solutions for sustainable, ethical, and delectable cuisine. In recent years, investors and businesses have endeavored to address problems with the global food system in all stages of the supply chain, including agricultural production, processing, distribution, preparation, and waste management.

Join Alice Waters, Claus Meyer, and Will Rosenzweig for a panel exploring how business can facilitate local movements in sustainable agriculture and food production to democratize healthy food, and how business can be a part of the solution.
